FENATRANO announces stoppage of transport in all its routes for this Monday

Fenatrano calls to mobilize at national level before increase in fuel prices

The stoppage will be from this Monday 9:00 in the morning
Santo Domingo, RD.- Trade unionist Juan Hubieres announced that the National Transport Federation (FENATRANO) will carry out a transport stoppage on all routes starting this Monday at 9:00 a.m.

The union indicated that the strike will be made by parking to the right all the vehicles of that group while the leaders and drivers make a massive visit to the National Institute of Traffic and Land Transportation (INTRANT).

On September 25, he made a surprise stop that left thousands of passengers stranded. Within the requirements of Fenatrano are that the gallon of gasoline is sold at RD $ 156, that of LPG at RD $ 65.0, and the diesel at RD $ 103.

While Fenatrano announces another strike, unions such as the National Confederation of Transport (Conatra) and the Federation of Dominican Transporters (Fenatrado) remain at the conversation table with the Government about the possible modification of the Hydrocarbons Law. Fuel prices have remained unchanged for two weeks in a row.
